Artist Biography:
Willia Menzel was a Belgium artist whose style was Cubism. From 1928 she was a member of the influential La Cambre group, which was founded by the famous architect and designer Henry van de Velde. Primarily a sculptor, Menzel also produced significant metalwork, graphics, and set design.
