Photographer Liliane Vertessen is known primarily for her erotically-charged self-portraits. She portrays herself with stiletto heels, plush and whips, set against various glamorous, erotic decors and under neom lighting. Her autobiographical work, however, is not about herself. The viewer only sees what Vertessen wants them to see, and the role that she plays.
