The videos, installations, photographs and performances of Cel Crabeels play with the idea of 'emptiness'. His video show desolate, unearthly landscapes with an abstract aesthetic character. Skilful montage and minimal interventions are used to distil their essence. In combination with audio fragments and the spatial arrangement, they evoke a physical experience.
